You would have a head problem if there was a recall on spark plugs with the logic he is using.

Yeah, if anything it's a Tank improvement not a frame issue.
Wonder if they will ever actually fix (the tank) or just keep on using that stupid plastic insert thing-a-mabob that probably does next to nothing.

OK Just to be clear the recall involved the use of the wrong grease on the spark plugs. That is what is cause the severe heat issues and hi speed wobbles.

Wow! And until your post, I was under the assumption that high speed wobble was caused by inadequate blinker fluid or loose muffler bearings. I'm glad I follow this thread.

What I found this time was the same as last time. A bunch of guys giving a guy with a "HD problem" a bunch of crap.
Obviously those with little faith in HD are ALWAYS bashed on this site. Nothing new. Yawn...

Regardless, the point was that Mr. Name Caller had no real right to bust up on the guy in THIS thread over something that happened months ago. Seems to me the OP was asking a legit question.

What is "WFT"?

lp
Well my spin after the guy had nothing good to to say about HD, The Dealer, The Bike or Poor Sole that had to put up with his ranting while it was being worked on. And low an behold he jumps the gun on a recall that had nothing to do with his weld issue on the frame. Which HD took care of. SOS I think I got that one right "Same Old Sh^t"

I can't speak for every one but I for one have had my very good results working out issues with my dealer.

Oh WTF "SOS"

2009 / 2010 HD had a recall and installed a BRACE...

".... DEALERS WILL INSTALL A LEFT AND RIGHT BRACE...."

I was wondering what the Tank / Frame area looks like on the 2011 modles and would like to get a picture....

Again, just looking for a Picture of the 2011 Tank Frame area , was not sure about the 2010...

For the guys who are "Doggin me" Yes my Frame , Swing Arm, Tank all were replaced at HD Expen.

Yes, I bitched and mooned all over this forum, and yep I now have 22,301 miles just had my Stator , Seals, Clutch Trap Gasket, Starter Motor all replaced..

I provided Delaers: San Jose Harley - Frame , Tank etc.. and Faultline Harley - Stator etc..

What's the big deal ? - Do you have a problem with my post ?

Remedy:

DEALERS WILL INSTALL A LEFT AND RIGHT BRACE, WHICH ARE INTENDED TO REDUCE FRONT MOUNT DISTORTION DURING CERTAIN CRASH CONDITIONS. THIS REPAIR WILL BE PERFORMED FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON DECEMBER 11, 2009. OWNERS MAY CONTACT HARLEY-DAVIDSON AT 1-414-343-4056.Notes:
OWNERS MAY ALSO CONTACT THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION'S VEHICLE SAFETY HOTLINE AT 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), OR GO TO HTTP://WWW.SAFERCAR.GOV .

Wink A picture is a good thing

Man to think after all my post, and this was at 3,000 miles less than 3 months old:

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...ml#post7419268

I still have my HD... thanks for the reminder.....

Still again just looking for a 2011 Picture of the Tank Frame area....

Do I really need to say why:

Ok - looked a CVO Street Glide, may buy one for my Girl Friend's 50th B-Day Dec. 6

Again, no big deal.....

Love these quotes...really shows who does not own a Harley and yet is still allowed to post on this forum..
