If you are talking about the 2" pull backs price on labor & bars are good. No other parts needed. I did mine, took about 4 hours with taking my time. Had a friend there to help with the bars (made it easier for that 3rd hand). 500 is a great price most have said dealer wanted around a grand. Made a big difference on my back afterwards. I did run the clutch line along the bars instead of out the fairing. I have a street glide.
So...Today I contacted the Motor Company directly. I was told that for my 2008 FLHTCU WITH ABS I would need the handlebars (part #56176-08), clutch cable (38922-09) and upper brake line (41678-08). I can locate all parts in the catalog except the upper brake line (41678-08). Is this correct and can anyone help me with this part #? Again, this was from a parts rep at HD Motor Company.
If I were you I would listen to the guy's here on the forum and maybe check with Dawg. He has an 08 UC. I think the 08's and up are the same. I changed the bars on my wifes 2010 SG and my 2010 Road King. all I had to buy was the 2" pullback Bars. No Cable changes. Bars for her bike were 149.95 right out of the HD catalog. If you lived close to me I would help you do it. Not a bad job at all. Give you some learning experience on your bike. JMO
I believe you are right about the '08 and up being the same except for the ABS. That is what makes the difference or so I have been told. Strange thing is, I cannot find the part number (41678-08) in any of the HD catalogs. I was able to cross reference it in a Dennis Kirk catalog but it cross references to a FLHR '08w/abs (upper)????????
Radell I installed these bars on my 08 Ultra with ABS and all that was needed was a longer clutch cable. If you want to route the cable under the fairing rather than thru it like the stock one you can do the bar swap without a new clutch cable. I chose to get a longer cable and keep the routing in the stock manner.
Okay RayGun and Thanks!! I hate to sound stupid but how are these parts so cheap? Are they genuine Harley parts? My dealer price is over $100 more for the three parts I need.
Thank you Tim. I hope you mean the 2" pull back bars. That is what I am going to do. Has anyone else heard of this Zanotti's place and why they are so much cheaper? I am always skeptical about shopping online.

Zanottis is a great place to shop. They do a lot of online business.
Radell, yes I did mean the 2" pullbacks. There are 4 or 5 dealers that routinely sell all oem parts at a 20% discount, Zanotti's is one of them, Chicago HD is another as is LakeShore HD and on the westcoast there is Surdyke HD.
