You guy's are awesome!! Thanks so much. I sure am glad I got on here and learned something new!! Now just have to order parts and learn something else new ( how to install them). Will post and let y'all know.
Do yourself a favor and order the service manual and it will show you how to do everything on your scoot.

How many threads have we seen asking for help after someone screwed up a bar install??
Brake light stays on.
Cruise control quit working.
Throttle sticks.
Lost brass thingy for the throttle cable.
Fuse keeps blowing
What is this little brass thingy for?
etc, etc.
Some guys would be better off spending the $500 to get the job done right.
i'm not sure, but don't harleys pull back bars bend back towards you so that you would feel like you're driving a wheelbarrow? i have the same stock bars on my 08 streetglide and even at 6' 4", i'm leaning forward in order to reach the grips. i just wish i could figure out how to install some 6" risers, use a hole saw to cut through the upper triple tree cover and choose whatever bars i wanted. imagine being able to change them easy rather than going through all the monkey motion that harley decided we'd have to go through if we wanted to change bars. someone wanted ideas for a new product, well here ya go.

No **** man....I was amazed at the BS you have to go through to get a set of bars on and off...act of freakin congress....I am 6'1" and the 2" HD pullbacks actually made my hand grip the bars at a better angle...I like them better than stock.I will go higher eventually....This was fairly easy and DIY in about 3-4 hours with no cable change so ...not bad...$40 bars on Ebay...Will do some Wild ones or Klockwerks next time...with cables and the whole shebang.
