Question about the Touring pullback handlebars for an '08 FLHT
Does anyone have these bars mounted on your bike? If so do you have a pic to share? Did you have to get any other parts (like brake lines). Do the throttle wires still run inside the bars?
I have an 09 EG that I put the reach bars on. I went ahead and ran the TBW and electrical inside. All wires were long enough but the clutch cable is kinda tight, may end up replacing it or routing it outside the fairing. I'm 5'7" with short arms so they helped alot but I still have some pain between shoulders. Thinking maybe reach seat next.
I have them on my 08 FLHX and love them. Traveling now and don't have pics. I had to change the clutch cable but used the same cables on the brakes. All wiring is internal now also.
So I think the consensus is the only thing I need is a new clutch cable then?
The brake lines were plenty long enough? Wiring? I always can extend those.

I haven't done this yet but I plan to. From what I have read, HD recommends a clutch cable replacement, but some have said here that you can re-route the stock one to make it work without replacement.
