Okay, I'm sure that this has been discussed before, but with new models out and not seeing much out there, I'm soliciting input. I have an '02 Road King and an '07 Street Glide. What's the difference between them (besides the motors)? Essentially the fairing. I'm tired of taking care of two of them but won't part with my Road King. And why should I when I can make it a Street Glide when I need to or want to. So, that said, who's tried them and can provide feedback, both good and bad?

JonnyD made his into a street glide by adding a fairing. His isn't removable. Do a search and you'll find a great thread he started.
Lots of threads on detachable fairings. I have a Dragonfly, which I felt had the best looking inner fairing, Dragonfly fairings mount the speakers internally, which gives the fairing more of an OEM look. Also, the mounting brackets extend all the way through the inner fairing, which adds quite a bit of stability.
Dead Center and Woodys are two other good choices. Woodys, in particular, is known to be a very good value, and Glenn is a forum sponsor and frequent contributor.
I just puy on a Dead Center this week & love it. They promtly answered all my email questions prior to purchase and continue to do so. Dragonlyfly never anawered a question about their radio and lost my busines.
I really lke the lock on the Dead Center. It's a pushbutton that can be locked with a barrel key. I needed matching paint and recieved it in 9 days! Great service.
