I put them on my '09 RKC which has throttle by wire. I had to move the heating unit up a bit on the throttle side because the small ridge where the wires connected made the fit too tight when covering the whole grip area. Hope that makes some sense. Bottom line, the heating element does not cover the grip all the way to the end of the handlebar. It has not been a problem however, as heat still generates and works well. Hope this helps. Kind of hard to explain, almost have to see.

One other thing about these, and what I found to be a bigger annoyance, is the heat demon clamp that replaces the stock clamp. It seems to have a fine line on the amount of torque it will accept. If it is clamped too tight it will not let the button click which will not turn the unit on. Too loose and, of course, the lever etc turns on the handlebar. After some effort I found the right combination and all works well. Just thought that should have not been an issue with the product. Other than all that, they work great really providing comfort in colder weather.
