If you have big volume slip ons then you'll have to go as high as 10 in the 0 column.
I'm running an 09 RK with V&H Power Duals and Monster Ovals and even at 10 there is a little decel popping. It's almost impossible to eliminate it completely with some of the bigger slip ons.You really only need it from 2000rpm and lower anyway since the injectors are shut down until about 1850 when decelerating. I think they are open around 4000 and above but don't quote me on that but anywhere in between there is no fuel at all being put into the cylinders when decelerating with no throttle.
To stop decel popping you add fuel to your o column , what is the most some of you have had to add in this column to stop it? Thanks
I ended up with 20 in mine. Not a pop or gurgle on decel. It's an '09 with Stage 1 a/c and 4" Rinehart slip-ons w/ stock headers (no cat). Mpg's are good. averaged 45 mpg....I did 200 miles yesterday...back roads and highway
I bought my PC from Jamie at FuelMoto. I had poping on decel. Call Jamie and he had me change the setting at 0 throttle position form 10 to 15. Worked like a charm. Still get low 40's mpg.
