Ultra Classic Console-Communication Socket on Tank
Thank you for the quick reply.
I am hoping to find an older post 2006 panel with the plug and then transfer the plug to the glass panel I will be installing on my console instead of using the ugly panel HD uses.
I am guessing 2006 is the cutoff date. I have a 2010. Any ideas on this?
how does this strike your fancy, just changed mine on a 09 ultra to this minus the black cvo insert. its a solid chrome piece with hole for CB plug p/n 77153-08

Also in the Boom! Audio Music and Intercom Kit (77108-09A) that Harley has for using the intercom with models without the Tour Pak, the rider headset plug is next to the dash down by the seat.
I just ordered this for my 14 FLHTCU. Could you please tell me how to install? Does the whole fuel tank console need to be removed? Does the CB plug need to be removed as well? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Take the seat off, there is one screw under the nose of the seat and there are two screws under the gas lid. Then it just lifts right off. There are some wires to unplug under the console also, this has been a long tme ago. iirc there is a set of clamps holding it onto the console underneath. This video is about another installation but it shows the disassembly of the console. hope this helps
