The last couple of times I've started my 2007 Harley street glide, the Raido/clock display on the console of the ferring has turned red. Has anyone ever had this happen, and can you tell me why it would? Thanks All!
Why ASAP? I'm not riding the bike, just starting it in the garage. It was left to me, and since I'm not able to ride it, I'm just starting it and letting it idle for 10 minutes every couple of days. I just had it serviced.
It probably has something to do with the display settings. More important than that, why do you feel the need to start the bike every couple of days. You are doing more harm than good. You are introducing moisture to the engine. If you can't ride the bike long enough to get the engine up to operating temp and keep it there at least 20 or 30 min. to burn the moisture off, I would put a battery tender on it and some sta-bil in the gas tank and let her sit until you can start riding it.
The battery died, and I had it replaced, I guess I'm paranoid about the bike not starting again. I'd love to put it up, but I'm selling it, and need to keep it in running order for prospective buyers.

I hope you are not selling it because of illness. 07 SG is a nice bike. I've thought about moving to Fla. so I can ride year round. Good Luck!

The bikes battery is not like the car one.If u dont ride(move) the bike it wont give the battery any charge and it will die again. If you want to keep your battery AND engine running properly you will have to go for a ride ,dont nned to be that long but as someone said b4 at least 20 minutes..Just my opinnion. Good luck

You should buy a Battery Tender and keep the battery charged when not riding.
