35K miles on my '09, no problems. I tried everything that has been posted so far on when it happens and nothing. There is no reason why only the RG's would have this issue, all of the touring bikes use the same basic parts.
I have an 08' and everyone I talk to who has a RG before the frame change in 09' has had problems with the rear wheel wobble. The only reason I want to upgrade to an 09' or up is to get rid of the rear wheel wobble. If you search the forums, you will find quite abit of info out there on the subject.
I realize you may be talking about an earler year than the 11' FLTRU, but I had to post because one, I have to get my post count up and two, I like posting picture's.
I've got 2,488 miles with no issue's. I bought mine from "The Outpost" in Fairbanks and put 330 straight break in miles to get home here in Palmer.

I do hope you get your issues resolved.
