Default Fairing Questions (newbie here)

Hey guys first of all I want to thanks for the warm greetings on the board. I am currently adding an 06 classic fairing to my VTX. I know don't hate. I will upgrade when I can afford it. My questions are:

1. I have the headlight bucket and headlamp and a small chrome outer piece. There appears to be about an inch around the outer headlight light that the bucket is still visible. Am I just missing the chrome bezel? There's a hook on the bottom of the bucket that's not being used so I'm assuming that's for the bezel to mount.

2. How do the gauges mount? I bought a set of gauges but don't know how they mount from the inner side of the fairing. I see they are threaded.

3. Does harley make a mount that fits into the glove box to mount an aftermarket radio?

4. Does anyone know how to go about wiring up the gauges? I am hoping to for now have a functioning volt gauge and air temp gauge. (remember I don't have just plug and play like you guys.)

1 Sounds like you have the part that is called the trim ring but it does seem you may be in need of a chrome ring that is installed right in front of light housing ….. That hook sounds like the retainer that will hold the bulb in place………

2 ok you have gauges, but sounds like you do not have mounting brackets that attach to inner fairing

3 yes Harley has the parts needed to secure radio, but may not work for any radio.

You have your work cut out for you……
Recommendation…….. Try not to bite off more you can chew. If someone gave you or if you really got a screaming deal on all this stuff, my advice would be to sell the items and research for a aftermarket fairing designed for you model……….. Good luck
