HD Factory Screw Up
Did my own tune up the other day, under oil filter I noticed one of my motor mount bolts was broke off. Checked the other one, and the underside of the mount and the topside of my block was factory clean, no sign of a bolt ever being tightened down. Holy crap, it was never installed. I guess too much stress on the single bolt caused it to break. Went to the dealer and picked up new bolts and installed. Felt much better about resolving that problem, but now my motor is more rigid to the frame and my bars vibrate quite a bit more. Oh well, vibes vs. who knows what might of happened down the road. Beware!
