I installed the road6customs lowering kit today. Very easy install and all is good. There has been no rubbing and the rideability has not suffered. The question is has anyone tried it on the 3" setting?(3rd hole) I installed the kit just for looks.Thinking of trying the 3" setting. I just wanted to know if any of you guys have tried this. By the way I never ride 2up have a anti motorcycle wife...
i have used them on 3 of my bikes i have them on my 2011 roadglide right now. i had a 09 SG and dropped down to the 3 inch mark once and put it back up. it was the angle of how the bike sat made me slide way back on the seat and made my back hurt. u have to watch the rear wiring harness if u drop it 3 inches it could rub and there goes your harness. the harness is cheap in price $30.00 but its what u have to go through to replce it. but it is a cheapest way to lower your bike. my 09 SG rode like **** with that kit on it but i think harley had made some changes on the 2011 shocks cuz it rides way smoother then the last bike i had.

Had a 2" drop on my '07... Worked well SOLO but 2-up not so good RUB!! so bad it took out the rear light harness. Went back to a 1" drop. Then just changed over to Progressive 940's
