I just don't see the point. I've got a Stage I '07 RKC with a PCIII, V&H True Duals, V&H Dresser Ovals and a SE A/C. I can run down the turnpike at 80 mph, two up with a full load of luggage with ease. We also rode to the top of Mt. Evans (14,240') last August and it pulled us and our gear just fine. I've got more than enough power for two up touring. I weigh 185 lbs and my wife weighs 120 lbs. Maybe that's a factor.
I have no difficulty seeing the point! Take a look a the earlier threads to see real life dyno curves, which look pretty impressive. I only ride my Dyna solo. It is mildly modified and has great performance. If I want to whip a solo Dyna while 2-up on my Glide I will need similar performance to the 120R. I really like that idea....
EXCUSE ME !, If I didn't do a seach this subject first before writing a momentary thought to this forum.
I JUST RECEIVED THE HOG MAGIZINE IN THE MAIL THE SAME DAY.
I to, do not need a 120 plus HP. My new Limited is real sweet the way she's setup now. End of subject.

Apology accepted old chap. No need to shout! We HAVE been discussing these motors on HDF for at least three months now. They created quite a stir back then and still are. Latest news, on other 120R threads, is they can be bought for 5k dollars.
After reading the other posts, the general concensus seems to be a revy motor. If you can live with that on a touring bike - it'll be a load of fun. I think it's just a matter of what you're looking for. Power is pretty crazy though - 140hp!
My thoughts are that this is the last hoorah for the air cooled Harley powerplant.
For all you get, the price is very reasonable. Maybe they're getting it into the mainstreet public before the EPA kills it????
The Green Machine IS looming!
The cams could easily be swapped for a more torque/bagger friendly motor. I am putting a 120R in my stripped 08 Ultra 'convertible' and will eventually swap the cams out, I'm sure.
Has anyone one installed one of these motors and dyno'd to see what kind of numbers they actually make.I know what Harley claims ........................

You'll find at least one dyno chart over in the long 120R thread.
