It's easier than filling your gas tank and the results are more than just cosmetic.

Bought mine at a Harley Davidson showroom. One that says "Road King". Looks much better than the stock piece of crap that came on it! This is where Harley suck you in. I should ahve invested with HD and Kuryakyn as much as I have spent between them! But I love my RKC!

Not snarky, I've got 50,000 miles on three Harley Baggers and have never had one fail. I did replace mine, but that was for looks. I'm sure they do fail, but I haven't experienced it yet.

Good for you, my man. I wasn't referring to anyone specifically - just addressing the attitude. Not all replies (like yours) were of the snarky persuasion.
FYI: I've got 200K+ miles on several different HD's and all but one failed.
I make my own now. Costs me less than $15 (closer to $30 if I use the chrome Heims) and an hours worth of time.

In relation to this thread, just changed shift linkage looks great got it done quickly had some time to adjust foot linkage height. Removed heal shifter then front shifter.... pivot shaft moved in and out freely, see no problems. Adjusted reinstalled, tighten everything up wiped it down, turn ignition on... What? No neutral light, did I disrupt anything when pivot shaft moved freely? Is it possible I miss-aligned something without knowing it?

Don't believe the light blew out, will put off starting until I receive some sound advice can't afford to take any chances... Thanks man!

Finally had to replace to stock linkage on my 2009 ultra (the rattling was getting obnoxious).

I went with the plain chrome from Kuryaykn. Inexpensive, and seems to be solid. Time will tell...
