i know we all want to save some money, and if these were only going to be used occasionally then i might go with the knock offs. if you are going to keep them on the bike most of the time, then i would definitely go with genuine. your choice.
Good tip skratch. I just searched Zanottis for mine (factory painted in Black Denim) and got:
at first i was wondering about the difference in the part number, then realized it was due to the vivid black vs the black denim. the op had mentioned vivid black, so i went with that. i would need the black denim as well, and hope to be ordering a set in the next month or so. hope it doesn't take too long for the painted part.....
interesting that there is a $45 difference in price since the msrp is the same on both ($649) but i'm not gonna complain if you don't
Can you post a link to the $309 delivered? I may be interested in them. My bike is nasty and dirty and crusty and once I get a layer of road grime on them, no one will be able to tell I bought some knock offs that are likely the seconds from a name brand manufacturer having them made in China
