Looking at lowers from this place.
Does anyone have them or seen them?
They look [from pictures only] just like the OEM
lowers.
Like to know any thought about these lowers.
Thanks
i bought a set of these just last week from jason. there official website is www.fairingfactorymag.com i also bought his bags and fender...great product! he dosent have the lowers on his new site yet, but just give him a call and hell take care of you.
Thank you. This is why I asked. I had never heard of them before.
The big thing is the thickness and being able to stand up to time.
It looks like the lowers come gloss black so that part is fine I need vivid black anyway.
How do think they [vented w/gloove box] compair with OEM lowers? About the same?
i can't get his site to load, but if i remember correctly, he is asking somewhere around $300 for a set of lowers. thats okay if you just want to stick with the black gloss coat, but if you need to get them custom painted, then i would go with the stock hd lowers for around $500 (from the inet discounters)
opinions on them range from 'for as often as i use them....' to 'i had them and couldn't stand the cheap *** things'.....
remember, if you go with hd, you get all you need. gloveboxes and mounting hardware included.
These are around 396.00 shipped w/gloove box and quick release hardware.
Found them on ebay.
yeah, for that price, i would just pay the extra $125 and get them color matched from the factory. course in my case (denim black) it was cheaper than that. dunno why, but denim was cheaper than vivid. go figure.
but, far be it from me to tell you how to spend your money. but i could see it easily costing more than the factory ones if you had a color like sedona orange and had to pay to have the ff lowers painted.

yes, but you're talking list price there. there are several places where you can get them for much less. i paid $485.00 for my denim black ones. didn't get the quick detach hardware, but c'mon, it's only 3 nuts holding each one on anyway.
edit: i see you're looking at canadian prices, that will definitely limit your choices with the moco new policy on shipping across borders.
Well I should have tuned in yesturday. Missed the 2 web sites. Oh well.
Already bought the Fairing Factory lowers, we'll see how they are.
Wouldn't be the first time I've been taken. Maybe they'll be OK.
Others seem to have liked them.
