I was gonna point that out too.

H-D is clearly concerned about not enough air getting to the furnace. I think the Desert Dawgs block the smallest amount of air possible.

I've had em, sold em to my buddy and went and bought a set of hard lowers painted with vents and put them on my bike and haven't taken em off........

Put the snap on HD lowers on yesterday. 45 degrees and no problems.

I have the HD soft lowers too. Not too expensive! I like the way they look on the bike. Plus with the HD Logo, I don't have to worry about warranty issues...LOL

I also have the HD bar/shield and they work great. Modified mine to fit over my engine guard fog lights.

would like to see a pic of that. don't have the lights yet but are planning on it. also was wondering about hwy pegs.. cutting out for them do you think it will tear or not look finished?

+1 on Roadspirit no snaps use strong velcro & have cutouts for highway pegs.
