08 streetglide seat fit a 07 flht standard?

08 seat will not fit a pre 08 bike because of the frame change/6 gal tank. There is a tab on the pre 08 seats that fit into a slot on the frame. On 08 and later there is a tab on the frames that fit into a slot in the seat.

lol, now ya tell me. I got it home and then noticed it didn't have the tab underneath for th tank...sat it on the bike and just laughed. It wasn't even close.
So what seat do I need? 06-07 street glide seat correct?
I like the low profile design of them.

I'm reading corbins site and it tells about having a lock design that won't work with bags bars? I'm not sure if his has this or not.

A streetglide has a different counsel then the Standard so you will have a big gap between the front of the seat and the counsel on the tank. Find an 07 roadglide seat and you will be good to go. It is either that or you will have to swap out your counsel or buy that cheesy looking filler peice.
