Question W/S on 2011 CVO RGU

I'm looking for feedback on the NEW W/S on the 2011 CVO RGU. I have a 2011 FLTRX 103 with a WV 14". I'm looking for as much wind protection as possible, function first. I'm also running the HD Wind Deflectors. My last bike was a 07 FLHT STD.

Thank you,
Sedona Orange

I love the WS on the FLTRU. I'm 5'9", and it is perfect, top of the WS lines up to the bridge of my nose.

I have the new CVO RG shield on my 2010 Road Glide. It looks and fits great. Love the gasket at the bottom of the shield....makes for a more fitted look. The shield is the same size as the stock shield on the 09 models i believe. Its the best shield i have owned for my RG but i still get some wind. But hey, its a motorcycle. So, at 6' 3" i could stand for it to be a inch or two taller. If you are shorter that that i would say it would provide excellent wind protection.

+1 on the 2011 FLTRU windshield. I'm 5'10" and the height is perfect for me. This is a redesigned shield for 2011. The angle is steeper, much like a Clearview.

My parts book has this as the part # - 57958-04B

Be sure to double check that part# if you decide to order.

I could be wrong but the CVO shield looks a little different then my RGU shield. Have not seen a CVO in person tho but the shield looks tinted.

It is a little different. The fit and finish is much better than the RGU shield. Part number for the CVO RG shield is 57744-11. Chicago HD had the best price on it I could find.
