Screamin Eagle Exhausts and Stage One on an Ultra Limited
Has anyone just installed the Screamin Eagle Street Performance Slipons and the Stage One Upgrade on a 2010 or 2011 Ultra Limited? That's all I did on my 2007 (with the 96) and it has run very wells for 30,000 plus miles.
I am getting a 2011 Limited with the stock 103 engine and would like feedback on how the bike runs from any riders who just did the Stage One with SE exhausts, and did not do add a tuner, etc.
I have the SE slipons 65115-10's and air cleaner on my 2011 RGU (103) and it runs very nice. They have the perfect sound from the saddle nice low deep rumble. I intitially did not do the stage 1 download because I was waiting for my dealer to be able to do it. I ended up getting the stage 1 down load but no precieved difference seat of the pants or mpg.
I have a 2010 FLHTK with the stage 1 and factory d/l along with 2-1-2 Fatshotz's. Put them on at the 1000 mile service and now at 10,000 plus miles I have no regrets on my decision. I enjoy the low throated sound and performance boost, though minimal but noticable over the stock setup. Initially when new the first few tanks of fuel I was only getting 35 to 37 mpg. At around 1000 it had picked up to 40-43 mpg. After the add-ons the mileage seem to settle in at 42 mpg pretty constantly. I also have a '03 FLSTCI (Stage 1 and Screamin' Eagles) which gets 42-43 mpg so I can't complain, must be my riding style. Hope this helps answer your inquirey.
How much for the stealer d/l? I have klock werk 4 in slip ons already with an a/c kit in my future. If it will do well without the pc5 and just a d/l I am curious about that.

When you say "stage one upgrade" are you talking about the download? Or the stage one air cleaner?
You're bike will run fine with just a muffler swap, even if you don't do the stage I download. I've got essentially the same engine in my 07 police Road King, and the very first thing I did when I got the bike was pull off the stock mufflers and put in some SE slip ons. (65115-98, same as the 65115-10). Great sounding mufflers, good value for the money.

I didn't stop there, but then again, I never do.
I am referring to both the Download and the SE air cleaner kit. It's not going to be run as cool as installing a fuel management system, but I believe it will still breathe eaiser with the SE cleaner.
I had such good performance on my 07 (the 96) with just this set up. And the sound of the SE street performance slash cut slips ons on my 07 were definitely louder than stock.
