I don't know how many HD you have owned but speaking of experience after 5 bikes in 5 years I finally found what I like and I'm planning on keeping it for long long time.I use to fix em up the way I want and get bored and sell em, and that's $$$$$$$$$ gone down the toilet.
Thanks Dave. Wife and kids both want me to keep what I have. I have been looking at some apes, stereo upgrade and Klock Weeks upper fillers for the rear fender.
Punjabi, this is my second HD. My first was an 06 CVO Fat Boy.
I got the SG because I didn't like how flashy the Fat Boy was. I was going for a sleeper look but that went out the window when I changed the wheels and front fender. Heck, I even had the 96" badge put back on my black air cleaner. Only noticeable thing on bike that engine work is done in it is the Screaming Eagle logo on the jugs. I have had a couple people ask about the cams though. I can't do anything about how it sounds.
Well, my buddy came over today to look at the bike. I still wasn't sure about selling BUT, I threw him out a number and he said he would take it. He said it will take him a little time to get the cash together. I said that wasn't a problem. I'm selling it for enough to buy a new bike with the Power Pak. If/when he buys it, I think I will wait until the 2012's come out before I buy another bike. My son is going to help me pick out a new one.
A 2012, I'm mobile so I can't see where you are from but if it's Cali I would by a 2011 thanks to Arnold...
