Default thundermaxx TBW

i would like to know if anyone had to do any mods to there o2 sensors for the new TBW thundermaxx. i have a 2011 Rg with the small o2 sensors located at the bottom of the head pipe next to the tranny cover. will i have do anything to make this fit or is it all plug and play. why i ask this cuz i want to buy one from Dr V twin monday thanks for all your help and advise.

I am pretty sure you will have to use the prior year head pipe. there is a clearance issue down low with the o2's. If you get the 2010 pipes for your bike you may want to remove the cat. If you can get a take off from an 09 you my friend are in the clear.

I was thinking for the newer bikes they were giving you the bungs you would need as adapters. I might be wrong. I had didn't have an issue with my 08. By the way Dr. Vtwin has a great price on that unit and you will love it.

Very little room where the new O2 sensor plug in - I doubt you'll get a wideband O2 sensor in there. You can go with the Jackpot headpipe and it has bungs in the new and old OEM location.
