Bought a set of D&D fatcat pipes from the classified section. Pipes arrived today. Seller stated they were on a 2011 Ultra. I have a 2010 Street glide. Both years use 12mm 02 sensor bungs that are located next to the "six speed" tranny cover. The Head pipe I recieved from him have 18mm that are located up top on the header pipe. This header pipe will only work with 2009 model year.
Leonard at D&D said I have 2 choices:
Sell system & buy new system.
Or buy correct head pipe for my bike which is $250
What should I do?

plug up the 18mm and get two 12mm and have them welded on?? if I'm not mistaken you can get a reducer from 18 down to 12
did the seller have a add on tuner that did away with the o2 sensors? the pipes will physically fit, but if you need the o2 sensors, you could also have the new bungs for the 12mm sensors welded in.
i think i might be asking the seller for some money back.
Call Leonard back and ask him what he would charge to weld the 12mm bungs in that head pipe. If he won't do it there is somebody out there that will. The other option you have is to go with a tuner that uses the 18mm O2 sensors like the Thunder-Max or the PCV with auto-tune.
Or...do you have a tuner? If so - (1) plug the 18mm bungs (NAPA has them) and you're good. If not, (2) get a tuner that doesn't require O2 sensors & then do #1. I have the Dobeck Performance GEN3 tuner w/o O2 sensor connections...works great!

Seller never stated if he had a tuner or not. They were on his buddy's bike not his. I don't think he knew. Bummer for me

Whichever you decide - good luck!
I need my sensors next to the tranny cover. That opton won't work. I'll have to buy longer wires for the sensors if I keep this header. That's not going to work for me.
