Even thoough you didn't get your bike You Done Good.
And like the "Pirate" said: You'll forget all about it 5 minutes into the 1st ride.
And don't forget to smile Ear to Ear.....
As others have said...damn..you got a nice deal....they did right to make up for sure. This day of being bummed out will soon pass....hey I know what it is like to wait.......but heck you live in year round riding land......I had to get mine just so I could ride for 2 days before winter comes lol
They probably did that just to shut you up, but I sure as hell wouldn't have. I might have offered a free delivery, that would have been the right thing to do, but a 5 year warranty...??
Sounds like a killer deal, considering.
I am a half full optimistic kinda guy, but I do hope you have something in writing as too your extended benefits. If you can't get that, barter for the equivalent in chrome or other goodies before you leave the dealership. Oh wait now their delivering it. Ask them to provide paperwork upon delivery of your added warranty and gap coverage, or refuse delivery. Or maybe ride right back to the dealer on your new bike to discuss said enhancements. You need something to prove your coverage other than them telling you, "it's in the computer, it's good at any dealer, anywhere, anytime" answer.
My $0.02
Yours probably showed up on time but they sold it to someone else, now they cover their azz's by getting you a warranty that is 80% profit for them when they sell it. A win win for both you and the dealer.

And you can bet if it isn't on a Moco truck then they will charge back the trucking company for being late.
But you can't beat what your dealer did. I know my local dealer wouldn't do that.
