I've always wanted ghost flames, so I'm going to have them done.
The guy I'm working with will change the base color if I want for an add'l $100 to basically any standard or candy color that I want.
So, I'm struggling a bit because black is such an awesome deep color when the clear is in good shape, but I'm REALLY picky about spider webs etc...so I put a lot of time/effort into keeping it looking flawless.
My dilemma is whether or not I should keep it black and just add the ghost flames or go with a very custom looking candy (and metal flake if I want it) color other than black?
He'll also ghost in the bar and shield logo which looks pretty hot too. I've seen his work and his candy/metal flake is spectacular.
Opinions?
PS The ship has sailed on whether or not to get the ghost flames...I'm doing that...so no question there.
I have thought about the ghost flames on my Vivid Black Ultra. Something real subtle starting on the fairing towards the edge and maybe the top of the saddlebags and top of tour pack.

Check my gallery...I had ghost flames over a black base on my Heritage, and it was fantastic... I did it to match my 2005 Ford F250 Harley... I've sold the softail, but i'm considering doing the exact same job on my RK. I think a black base is the only way to go!
Thanks for the links and pics. Lot's of votes for Black with flames! Nobody is into the candy colors eh? Good thing is that I have some time to decide.
