I did a 95" build on my Uncle's 99 UC and he is getting 94 HP and 103 torque you should at least be in the 90 range for HP.

I doubt it with the SE255 cams.

I agree. 255 cams are good for low end torque, but they definately are NOT big number producers.

Like it or not, the 103 with stock heads just are NOT powerfll engines. Mid to upper 80's HP and upper 90's to really low 100'2 on the torque. Especially if you are using S.E. cams.

My 103 stage 2 build was around 82 hp and 102 torque. Knowing what I know now, I would have gone another direction....especially in the cam (255's) department. This summer I plan on head work and new cams.

Are all engines of the same build from the factory identical? For example, could one stock 103 versus another stock 103 give different dyno numbers? The guy that dynoed my bike talked about it being something special. Don't know if all engines are created equal. I do love the ride ability of my bike.

High compression pistons, thinner head gasket, exaust systems can make a difference ie this Fat Cat I'm running's probably the biggest reason I'm pulling over 98 ft.lbs/tq. with stock cams.

To the OP- I have a 2009 RKC with the 103 stg 2 BB kit and 255 cams. Stock build with stg 1 ECM flash was 68HP and 75 TQ. The BB kit/255 cams with a stage 2 ECM flash and SE Touring mufflers and V&H Powerduals, made 75 HP and 91 TQ. I bought a SERT and changed to Monster Oval mufflers and went to 79 HP and 93 TQ. I then went to Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers and the bike went to 80 HP and 95 TQ. I swapped to a V&H 2-1 Chrome Pro Pipe and made 82 HP and 96 TQ. I have been at this for a year now, the dealer has done compression tests and leakdown tests. I have played with timing for 3 months now as well. This has consumed WAY too much of my time and energy. Injectors flow +/-5 to 8% difference, factory tolerances create different stack ups and compression, TBW switches have different response rates, cast heads have port geometry differences as dies wear, etc, etc, etc. My next thought was the Heavy Breather intake and a completely different tuning facility, or switch to a ThunderMax. The HD SE catalog has the kit at 83 HP and 102-104 TQ, so is the effort really worth the trouble in the end was the conclusion I came to. The 255 cam is torque cam, and won't make the higher HP numbers. I would have to swap cams and open the heads up to make a drastic difference. In the end, my bike rides awesome and it's way faster than stock, so I'm just riding!!!!
