Default put it back on

i have a 2008 road glide, last year i bought a set of hard lower fairings. the 1st item in the instruction sheet was to remove the air baffle under the lower fork mount so i did. after reading posts about people going out to buy the baffle i decided to reinstall the air baffle. it is raining today so i could not take the bike out.

Really the only time that Harley recommends that you take off the fairing lowers is in the summer time because the being air cooled needs as much air as poosible passing over the fins to keep it cool

I think he's asking if he should leave the fork baffle in or not.....

I remember that the instruction sheet said that baffle needed to be removed because of the repositioning of the Clutch Cable.

I took mine off, according to the instruction sheet. But after a year of riding with it removed, I think I will reinstall mine too.

It did not seem to make any difference with it on or off with the lowers installed when I had my '06 Road Glide.
