Good luck with your bike. I got a 06 EG standard on Friday. I got the fob too. When I press the center nothing happens. I am guessing the batter in he fob is dead. Ride safe

The way my salesman showed me how to use the FOB, is to stand infront of the bike and hold it in until the signal lights blink twice, It takes 5-10 seconds for this to happen. to disengage, again in front of the bike and double click it, signal lights flash 1 time.
If you don't get any flashes doing this, my guess is your correct on the FOB Battery being dead.
Your idle range seems to be ok,,remember its not carb and will never have that potato sound you want!! ...Injected bikes doesnt have any way to adjust it yourself,,(or never heard about that with HD´s)...
No idle adjustment on the bike. You can buy a Mastertune TTS tuning device for about 450 bucks, which will allow you to tune the fuel injection, and has provisions for idle adjustment.
It's not a good idea to lower the idle, though. It's set the way it is for a reason. If you swap out your stock cams for ones with a little more duration, your idle will get a little choppier.
However, even with all of that, if you really want the classic Harley sound, you need a carbureted evo motor. Those were the last of the pure sounding Harleys.
