I'm buying new wheels haven't picked which ones yet think I'm going to wait a little to see if any new ones are coming out. And I know I want at least a 21, so my question is stick with a 21 or can I roll with a 23 without cutting the necking know arlen ness makes a kit but I cant drop a large amount of coin all all that so can I put the 23 on and then buy kit or I have to have kit in order the put on my 23 I know about my fender needing to be changed so do I get the 23 or 21
Depends on how much coin you want to spend. 21's handle great and are readily available. Fender adjustment and progressive lowering kit up front and you are done.
Alot more money and work going to the 23" for a little more rim and a lot more harsh ride... if you ride much I wouldnt go bigger than the 21". Good luck and post some pics when its done
do the 21, got a couple of riding partners with 23's when we blasting our way back home they are ALWAYS in the back of the pack, even though they have motors to keep up and surpass -- there 23's get a little squirelly at moderate to high speed. One has his neck raked to accommodate the 23 the other one just slapped it on.
Thanks think I'm just going to stick with the 21 not really wanting that harsh ride I do go on trips and ride pretty hard when I'm out with my buddies thanks guys

1) What fender adjustment needs to be made for 21" front wheel? 2) Already have the HD front lowering springs, will they do?
you can just bore out the rear fender mounting holes to 3/8" and raise the back part of the front fender up when you go to remount the fender. You want at least a 1/4" clearance between the tire and the fender. If you already have the HD lowering springs then you can still use those and everything will work well.

Go with the 21" front wheel. Looks great imo and rides great to! Call Hogpro they'll hook u up. That's where I just got mine from and i'm very satisfied!
