Default Dumb luck

Now I don't want to sound like a complianer so don't get me wrong. I got the bike last Wednesday afternoon and rode to work wed and thurs and now it's rained everyday since. I guess that's what I get for buying in November.

On a different note what are you opinions on highway pegs? Seems like a good way to add another riding position and seems comfortable?

Bought mine in September and thought the same thing. We had a drought all summer then I go buy a new bike and it seemed like it rained every dang day afterwards. Still have manage to put over 2k miles on it though! But I'm thinking yesterday was probably my last day for a while now! Congragts on the new bike though!!

"opinions on hi-way pegs?".....Hell yeah !!!!
They are a 'gotta-have / must-do' in my book, couldn't imagine
riding without them.
Which style / brand is a personal choice.....
Congrats on your new scoot, and enjoy

+1 on the pegs.........most my life in the midwest they seemed like a good idea but I never sprang for them. Moving out west with these long open stretches of straight asphalt they are well worth the coin.

Just feel lucky you can still ride in the winter - my bike's parked until thaw.

Definitely agree w/others on hwy pegs - great accessory for stretching legs on longer trips. There are quite a few options so have an idea of where you want your riding position w/pegs.

Highway pegs are a must have for me. They make a world of difference on long trips.

the best highway pegs I have found are the least expensive HD's I think they are $44 chrome with gold inserts--the rain will stop and you can ride again -- be safe

Highway pegs? Absolutely! You might not use them every time you ride, but the 1st time you use them to stretch your legs on a long trip you'll be glad you have them. I've got mine positioned so that I can rest my heels on the footboards and my toes on the pegs - adds one more comfortable and stable riding position.

Highway pegs, shouldn't matter to you. You won't ride in the rain and for any trips that might involve highway miles it will probably be on a trailer.
