Congrats on the new bike. I started with highway pegs and they made a big difference. Still had sore knees and hips after long rides. Bought harleygoodies floorboard extenders and HD extended floorboard pans. The combo moved everything out 1" and forward 1". This made a HUGE difference!! I hardly ever use my highway pegs now. Still nice to have them but if I were to do it all over again I would start with the extensions. Much cheaper too!

Gotta have pegs. Ride 500+ miles in one day, and the ability to change your foot position is invaluable.
