Yup finally had enough of the dyna on long haul rides found a deal on a Ultra & on the 2 hour ride in the high desert sub 40 weather I couldn't be happier. I thought Harley had a great bike in the Dyna but after riding the Ultra... I get the tour bike thing. Photos to come soon.
I understand riding in your area. I used to live in Trona. It can get very hot and very cold. I could not ride in comfort on a Dyna. I guess I'm getting too old. I need my windshield, Saddlebags and nice seat for my fat little butt.
Congrats to whatever you boought. Took some long trips on my Deuce prior to moving into baggers. Now the Deuce just sits all covered up in the garage. Gotta luv the Touring Class.
I've had one Dyna and 4 Ultra's. I really enjoy riding the Ultra. I get all the fun of riding and having all that fairing/windshield has greatly lengthened my riding season!
