I have a 2005 electaglide (injected 88ci) with a D&D 2into1 FatCat and am looking to install a h-d screamin' eagle black heavy breather kit (29098-09). I do not have 02 censors on this bike.
Do i need to purchase the race tuner and software to tune this after the heavy breather is installed? What is this process???
Also does the tuner stay mounted to the bike or only used when mods are added? I am looking to add T Man Cams in the future, just not in the budget right now.... pry next winter
I am finding the Thundermax is far more superior but very costly?

I got a 2003 Road King. I also have a 88ci with a D&D FatCat and a Arlen Ness big sucker. I got a race tuner and have my bike tuned through the laptop. My cousin is my mechanic so I really don't know the tuning process. Also the tuner does not stay mounted to the bike. it is plugged in, tuned, and unplugged. I think just the power commander needs to stay mounted on the bike.
