Default Screamin Eagle Slip-ons Question

I have a chance to get a pair of screamin eagle slip-ons, one part number is 66012-06A for a very good price.

I have a 2005 FLHT carbureated with a stage 1 kit.

What I've read about these pipes is that they are designed to go on a bike with a stage 2 kit and 103 engine, which is alot bigger than my 88.

What problems would I anticipate having if I tried to put these on my bike?

Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

I think you will loose power if you go with those pipes, I wouldn't do it....

I have had excellent performance and sound on my carbed 88" with the older 65115-98B pipes (I was lucky to find new 98B's a couple years ago). However they are now discontinued from Harley, but can be bought new from SuperTrapp (who made them originally) and they are called the SE mufflers. My friend is running the SE's on his "88 (vs. my original 65115-98Bs) with similar performance and great sound.

I have them on mine. Bought em on ebay and put Fulsac baffles in them. They look great and sound good. No loss of power or other issues. 10000miles on them so far.

How difficult is it to put the fulsac baffles on? What size engine do you have Wreckman?

Thanks for the info.
