So I guess if you didn't put thousands of miles on your bike this summer your a puss ? What next....... I did ride to Sturgis and back and manged to stay at a Holiday Inn Express twice this summer.
2010 EG Classic I bought in June, 4300 miles. Before you laugh or call me a slacker I travel for work and am only home 3 days a week, so that was done strictly on weekends and vacation!
Mine's bigger than yours. No mine's bigger than yours.
I believe anyone that measures their enjoyment on 2 wheels in miles is actually missing the point. I've been able to put 9,000 miles on my '07 Ultra over the past 4 summers and countless number of miles over the past 40 years.I believe no matter how many miles anyone has ridden, no one could possibly enjoy owning a motorcycle more than I do.
Since April 20th 14.5k.The riding's pretty much been over for me since Oct.1st,betwwen work and weather. It was a great summer though,Smokey mts.,east coast to west coast,Glacier Park,Jellystone.,Ore. coast.Plans are for Laconia NH next June and So. Cal in Aug. and anywhere else the little woman will let me go.
Picked up the bike Aug. 1, 2009 and on Aug. 1, 2010 I had 22,115 miles on it. Got gas today and the odometer was at 28,449 miles. I think that I am slowing down just a bit.
my uncle has a 2000 RK he bought new and put under 1k on it this year.
my FLHTK all ready has more miles then his !
so i guess 10k a year is not bad.
i bought a 2001 heritage for the wife and it only had 3900 on it.
i guess some buy them to rub the paint off and others ride them
this is not a mine is bigger thread this is thats a lota money and how much am i using it,* FOR ME * there is no way i could spend close to 30k and only put 1k miles a year on it !
there is no way i would get married and only hit it one time a year ya know
