Started the year (January 14th, 2010) at 18,301. Current odometer reading is 41,212. That puts me at 22,912 so far for the year. Missed a bunch of riding time in Sept / Oct as I was @$$ deep in alligators at work, so I only put 1200 miles on the bike during those two months
Thought it might say "9 months ago....I met this girl at a party and....". I had 47,000 on my '06 SG when I traded it in July. 6,000 miles on my '10 EG Classic, with lot's of riding time missed this year. Guess I'm slakin' too. Hoping for at least 10k-12K of riding in 2011.
I am in the Army stationed in Iraq at the moment. I went home on R&R leave in Sept, I pick up my 2011 cherry red sunglo/merlot sunglo limited 19 Sept. I was able to put 720 miles on Big Red in 9 days. I returned to Iraq beginning of Oct. I have less than 5 months left to go in the big sand box then back home to my faimly and Big Red. Should be starting to warm up in the coastal Ga area when I get back so I can continue to rack the miles up. Speaking of miles, this bike just want to go and go, it EATS the miles like its nothing. An hour ride seems short now. With the sporty I traded in on her, after an hour my azz was starting to get numb. Cant wait to add the goodies I have aquired since my purchase ( 4 in klockwerks slip ons, chrome windshield moulding, chrome front and rear speaker rings, chrome radio faceplate, 18 inch led strip I am going to mount just under the tour pack lid lip for an extra brake light, secure saddlebag screws, saddle bag lid covers and tank bra.) I already have a center stand and backrest added. I think thats a good start for a great bike. Stay safe everyone and keep the shiney side up.
