Default Spun aluminum gauges
I have a 2003 anniversary Ultra classic. Id like to change out my gauges to the spun aluminum gauges, but the HD catalog says from o4 to 07.Has anyone made this change and if so how difficult was it.

'04 and newer models use a speedo and a tach that get their information via serial data supplied by the ECM. On '03 and older bikes, the speedo gets vehicle speed information from the vehicle speed sensor and the tach gets engine rpm from the crank position sensor. Electrically, the spun aluminum speedo and tach are not compatible with your '03.

im in the same boat you are i have an 02. you can get the white speedo and tach from HD but those are the only thing ive found. or Dakota if you like the digital look.

well i dont really care for either option, but guess i look at the dakota gauges

Check out klock werks they have teamed up with autometer and make a six gauge kit. Think they run around 1,299 a set.
