my father is looking at buying an 08 street glide w/ a T-man 103 stage 3 kit on it, 590 cams, 58 mm TB, roller rockers, supertuner...the works.
The bike has D&D Fat Cat 2-1 pipes now, but he is not a fan of the 2-1 look... any suggestions on a true dual set that would work well with the current motor setup?
Money not a big issue, dont want to spend more than a grand if possible...
Also, previous owner put S&S filter in stock air cleaner housing--we think.
Suggestions on good looking Hi-Flo open design cleaner?
I have a Doherty Powerpac on my softail, and love it. He is thinking about that route, still shopping..

Thanks for the help.
I have the powerpac in my softail as well but when it came time to do the same with my bagger I went with the Arlen Ness chrome backplate. $118 with filter and free shipping. Same performance at a fraction of the price.
get a set of reinhart true duals. Great performance, good looking good sound.
Ha!
I guess I should have said---the previous owner had a set of Reinharts on it before the D&D's.. Took em off at the recommendation of the tuner at the dealership, in an effort trying to get more power--based on the dyno tuning. We dont know what happened to them.
I know this because we were given copies of all the of the work orders from the dealership.
thx

look at klock werks double backs they offer a different look, CFR mufflers, cause thats what i have......HAHAHA also D&D mufflers have a good sound also
Rinehart's are good. V&H Dresser Duals w/ Hi-Output slip-ons are good too.
My preferred method as you can change looks or sound by switching mufflers with ease. But then I am just set in my ways that dressers look best with dual exhaust.
That being said, have read 100's of times on here that the MAX hp/torque is going to be made with 2-1 pipes. If maximum power is an issue might want to check with a local trusted or reputable tuner, assuming Dad is going to switch pipes and have the SEPST re-tuned.
