Will my bike benefit from Sea Foam and how does it compare to STA-BIL?
You don't need it, yet.

We never had these problems until our nanny watch overs (government slicks) found ways to increase their re-election funds by taking money from big oil and now corn farmers.
I remember good Hi Octane fuel that really produced few problems and gave good performance in engines of all sort. It's all gone now so thanks government slicks for making our lives less livable.
Bastardized alcohol diluted fuel has ruined several of my engines with no recourse to the offending perpetrators.

I use Star Tron http://www.starbrite.com/whatsnew/ST...%20p3072D2.pdf
I'm going to pick up some Star Tron today and give it a try. Looks like a little goes along way at 1oz = 6ga treatment....

dang how long are you guys storing your bikes for? If I was storing for a year I might use something but for a 3 month vacation never had to use anything and never had an issue on carbs or efi and have been wasting my fair share of gas since 1972

Default Just my opinion

Probably just waste of money but if you have plenty and it makes you fill better why not. I'm 62 and have weedeaters, old cars, bikes and all the other motor stuff. Never used it. Only trouble I have had was 25HP Yamaha motor with stopped up jets from sitting a few years. Thats an extreme case and any additive would have dried out in the jets. (they are only about .013 in the idle circuit. I break the bowl drains now on that motor but only one I do anything special to. I compare it to bottle water being better for you. If someone was pouring gas in small 12 oz cans and labeling it as storage fluid to some it would give a since of well being and that is good. Also good for the economy in a good way for me since you are helping it and Obama is not spending my tax money doing it.

FI bikes are a lot less sensitive to long term storage than carb'd bikes are but I'll spend the $6.50 for a can of Seafoam to add to the crap ethanol gas for its 4 month nap. On a side note I just picked up a bottle of super concentrated Star Tron on sale for $7. It's says it treats 128 ga of gas (.5oz = 1 ga). For .30 cents to treat a 6 gallon tank full, I'll give it a try .....

I've read several articles on StaBil which say that it is so good for your engine that it's recommended to use it all the time. Not just for long term storage. Improves the quality of fuel and cleans and lubes everything it comes in contact with.
BTW I've read similar things about Marval Mystery Oil and I've had great results adding a bit of that to my fuel too.
