Cool

I say you all should contract Susan Boyle to ride with you and sing while going 80mph. I'm sure you'll be able to hear her clearly!

you don't have a clue what you are talking about if you read my post, when I said John and I have been down this road before I was referring the road we went down is I looked at his system seriously thought about buying it but liked another better and now he wants to keep claiming his system is the best and I do not buy it, look I went to his trailer looking for a new system so again when you say I am a Hawg Wired only guy you are again wrong, I guess in your opinion if I shop around for a new system and wind up buying what's in my old bike because I find nothing I like better than I'm a Hawg Wired only guy, and as far as your comment about Drago's well obviously you are a Dr. V Twin mark because no vendor chimes in with sales pitches on any post more than them

By his own post, he should only post about what he sells. If you want to know about J&M, ask JMJohn.

The OP asked about opininions on speakers. Not asking to post ads for sales. How about keeping your ads out of this? It takes up space for no reason. I took your ad out of your quote.

John thats funny!!

Thats like me asking Hawg Wire who has a better system. LOL LOL LOL LOL. I should ask Rob to chime in at Hawg Wire. And ask him what he thinks about your comments. LOL LOL

Come on I would expect you to say you have a better system.

Here is Hogtunes saying why they will not carry larger speakers. And I dont even sell this.

and please just be patient about 4 more weeks and I will show everyone here a NEW J&M system for the J&M 2011 StreetGlide with 500w RMS 4-channel amp properly mounted in the fairing ,,,,,, 7.25" J&M speakers in the fairing and ALSO 7.25" J&M speakers in the new J&M molded lowers inserts, with grill mounted mids and tweets, on all 4 custom J&M speaker grills ,,,,,

suffice to say that there is NOTHING available today to compare to it ,,,,,

new 500w amp and 7.25” lowers speaker kits scheduled for release late March 2011 ,,,,

All this and still no answer to the original question.

Is there anyone that can honestly answer the question posted by the OP? I believe that none was looking for an advertisement war.

I guess the Boom speakers are too new for anyone to have switched from them to another speaker.....
but if I were to guess, I would say that the J&M 7.25's sound better than the HD Boom speakers only because the 7.25's are bigger. lol!

Still want to hear a result from the original post.

I can not answer the ??? for J&M but I will put up pics up by the weekend on My install to the BOOM system that I am removing out of a 2011 CVO bike and installing a Hawg Wire system But by looking at the boom speakers they are in my 2 cents they are different material than stock but other that they sound a little better than stock with out the amp. And have a little more bass sound to them but not much.

EXACTLY. The poor OP is probably just sitting there waiting until somebody actually tries to answer the question HE asked, which was not about amps, saddlebag speakers, CVO pods. Since we all know the stock speakers suck, perhaps he just wants to know what the best simple-replacement-only speaker will be for his modest investment.
Me? I like the stock speakers, they'll make a great tool for picking up tiny screws off the floor with those tiny magnets!

With all this 250, 300, 500+ watt amp talk, are we eventually going to be seen as emulating the yo-yo boyeez in the hood with the insidious booming and the inevitable front-end bouncing? Sheesh, I hope not. If so, the next thread will be about which gold is best for your front teeth ("grill"), 14K, 18K, or 24K.

Please, somebody just address the OP's original question.

Hey this is amazing...... We are due for another " Buy these speakers from me, I sell only the best" posting in this thread. LOL

The way it looks, not many people buy the " Harley Boom " speakers. I did listen to them at the dealer one time, and I thought they were ok. Not the best, not the worst.

I'm happy with my setup, and thats all that matters.
