I hear you. Didn't know you were military. Thanks for what you do. Congrats on your retirement. If you find yourself on a nice long retirement ride up this way over the summer, the lunch and drinks are on me.
Zach
Yep, I'm military...20 years. I'll take you up on that if I make it your way this summer, thanks.
shame on you bry....but WTF they make fake **** nowadays why can't they make fake cfr's....let us know how you like em
LOL Not sure if I'm keeping them...I'll check them out and see what I think. You never know, they might be debadged CFRs and if they are...great. If not, I'll be getting rid of them.

sheeeit they can be just as fun even if they are fakes. if they look good and are real quiet and obscene I'll do em.
i hope "coca/cola" doesnt find out someones making cola just like theres...it could be real trouble ... more than one cola jeezz thats just not right.. lol next thing you know there will be american fries.
I'm sorry, and I know nobody cares (and shouldn't), but I just am not impressed with the way these CFR's sound.....BUT I've only heard them through Youtube... I also think Fatcats sound like ****. Both of these have that weird underwater bloob-bloob boom-can sound that reminds me of some kid running straight pipes on an old six-cylinder pickup truck. To me it's anything BUT a high performance sound.
I sure hope the Frenchman doesn't snivel anymore; that was embarrassing to witness....

LOL It's all good and this is why exhaust sound is subjective. I have to disagree with the underwater comment though. I've had the CFRs and heard every available clip on line and none of the clips do them justice (including my clip). I'm not bragging about my bike, but with my build, cam etc., those CFRs really come alive. And, I've had them with a few different variations.
Interesting, I emailed the seller asking what diameter the baffles are and here is his response:
"when we get these in there is a mesh grate obver the end thats welded in place so I cant measure it it is stainless steel mesh though. "
CFRs don't have a mesh grate, do they? If so it sounds like the internals may be different.
