I purchased the Zumo 550, Great graphics and Bluetooth options. You download up dates and really has more then I can use. Also has a Glove Working Screen and dials that will work with gloves. It is pricey even s used ($450)

i have a car garmin. it works great, but i find it very distracting when the "bitch in the box" her code name, starts trying to tell me i'm going the wrong way. i now depend on maps instead, they don't complain.

I'm looking at the new Passport IQ: http://www.escortradar.com/iq/.
Wondering if anyone has any feedback on this unit?

How often are you going to use it?
Are you going to use it in the rain?
I use a Garmin 1390T, which I also use in the car. It's relatively cheap, and it works.
Also, If you hardwire it, all you leave on the bike is a small mount.

For those of you with the 660. Help please. When you remove it from the bike and use it in the car, does it work as a hands free device? I can't seem to get an answer from Harley (surprise surprise)

I got a Zumo 220 to replace my TomTom Rider 1 that went T _ ts up a couple of months ago. So far so good. I used the same RAM mount I had for the TomTom, just replaced the wiring harness and actual mount for the head unit.

I use Harley's version of the Garmin 660, fairing mount, and navigation interface. A very clean package and I can hear the commands through the outside speakers or the helmet speakers.

The Zumo 660 was designed for motorcycle riders, but works well in the car too. I have not tried to use it as a hands free device, but it does have a lot of cool features. I can work it with my gloves on. My favorite is being able to quickly find gas or food in the local area and lane assist makes for a safer drive. I would recommend you get your hands on one and see what it can do.

Is there a mount that permanently mounts so you don't have to worry about it at restaurants?
