I think if you want performance and reasonably priced, BadPiggy is right, VH Pro Pipe is the right exhaust. I really like the Bassani Road Rage, but it is more expensive, but the sound is great. The D&D is also a great exhaust and you can get it for less than $800 from Dr. V-Twin. I guess "reasonably priced" is all relative...
Go with the Vance & Hines Pro Pipe! It looks great imo, has excellent fit & finish, and performs excellent.
I saw a Bassani on a Street Glide when my bike (2011) was dyno'd and the fit was not very flush & the shop commented that it was a pita to re-install.
The Thunderheader is excellent performer, although aesthetically it is not very flowing.
Most 2-1s are very close in performance. D&D Fat Cats are very nice perform very well, but are noticeably louder than the V&H, (also louder... "Thunderheader").
I had a rhinehart it sounded great n seemed to perform great! I drug it in turns until a hole was in the muffler! Got a v n h now but real quiet! Had alot of engine work dun so dont know if it helps in performance! loved the rhinehart sound tho!
