LED Brake/Tail Lamp Kit on a Chopped Tour-Pak (picture proof)
Good evening gentlemen (and ladies),
This is something that I've been wondering, and while poking around the net, here's what I've found.
The new LED King Tour-PakŽ Brake/Turn/Tail Lamp Kit (part numbers 67931-11 or 67932-11) will fit on a Chopped Tour-Pak despite that HD says "only the King."
This isn't my bike (and thank you to the person I shamefully stole the photo from), but:
I guess the jury is still out as to whether the $400+ cost for the lights is justified, but in case anyone was curious about fitment, here ya go.
Looks pretty darn good on the Chopped Pak if I do say so.
Nice! Just got an 09 Roadglide in black pearl with a chopped tourpack and since I commute frequently between East Tenn. and Atl. being lit up like that would be a relly good thing. My compliments to whoever did the work on that bike in the pics. I looks killer.
If you get a chance to take clearer pictures of the light bar to tour pak joint that'd be great. No doubt the light bar can be mounted to the chopped tour pak, but seeing how well the light bar fits to the chopped tour pak (i.e. no gaps) would be very helpful.

Thanks for the pics.

I'd love to do exactly that, unfortunately that's not my bike. I came across those pictures digging through Google image search. This was 1 of only 2 sets of photos that I found with the new LED light bar on a chopped Pak. The other one showed a similar set-up from a side-rear angle, and might provide more details. If I can find it again, I'll post it to this thread.
I sure know I'd be hesitant about making a $400 mistake.
Seeing the LED light bar in the last picture shows that's the LED light bar used on the CVO King Tour Paks and not the accessory version that is nearly identical. The difference between the two is the accessory version has longer plastic sides so that it can be installed on Ultra tour paks with the older version light bar removed and cover the corner holes for the tail lights in the tour pak left after the old light bar is removed.
I wonder if that's something that can be ordered, or if it's a CVO only thing? Because looking closer, it would seem if the light had longer sides, it might interfere with the hinges on the chopped Pak. I guess it could be mounted a little lower... maybe.
EDIT: Well, I guess you must be able to order it, because this guy aparently managed to get ahold of one. Probably not impossible either way...
