NEED HELP W/SETTING WARM IDLE. JUST STARTED DROPPING OFF TO 850rpm. CHECKED FOR INTAKE LEAK W/STARTER FLUID, NOTHINGMUST BE IN IDLE CONTROL. 98 ROAD KING W/MM EFI. JUST HAD TEMP. SENSOR REPLACED AND A NEW POWER COMM. INSTALLED.HELP!!!!!

 

Check the vacuum line to your petcock also. A pin hole in it can cause rough running as it doesn't provide enough vacuum to hold the petcock's rubber seal open enough to get full fuel flow. These vacuum petcocks, even when working right, offer less flow than the mechanical petcocks so it won't take much reduction before you begin to see symptoms.
