I had the same issue with my 09 RG. I noticed, as Beach Bagger said, the turn signal kit blends in with the tail light in day light on other bikes. Perhaps the government isn't so stupid after all. I wound up buying a 6 inch led light bar from Custom Dynamics for about $40. It's wired to work as a running light and brake light. I mounted it under the licence plate after removing the reflector strip. Great visibility and folks can still see my turn signals.

I have road behind guys that have your set up, with all 3 lights on, way better on a Bright Sunny day. I couldn't believe how much better I could see them from the back over all the other Harley's. I think that module would be the way to go for my King. If I remember right all 3 came on as brake lights too, and all 3 was red.

Here you are Joe - 2010 tail light set up on my 09 Street Glide. This was changed about 3 weeks ago and I like it. They are, running, signal, and stop. It's plenty of light back there especially with the tri bar.

just tried this conversion today. i split the ground coming from the 09 harness and ran it into both grounds in the 2010 plug. everything works as it should EXCEPT both blinkers flash when i push either turn signal?!?! any thoughts on what could be wrong? also, i don't have front blinkers installed currently, could that be part of the problem?
thanks!

Default Doubt on Kuryakyn blinkers

I was reading your posts and figure that maybe you could answer my question. As far as I know, all international models from the MoCo still have the tail light. Mine is a 13' SG and it have the tail light and the yellow blinkers on the side that only work as turn signals.

This is the configuration that the SG had 06-09 in the US? I was looking at some black Kuryakyn turn signals to change the chrome ones that I currently have, but the catalog says that it only works for 06-09 SG, so reading this thread let me wondering if maybe the Kury blinker will work on my bike after all.

All comments are greatly appreciated.

One option you have with the '09 vs '10 up is Custom Dynamics Genesis LED tailight those things show up better anything I've ever seen
