I am looking at a 2010 Ultra Limited with 10,500 miles on it at the local dealer. They are asking $23,750 for it. Here is all the extras that is on the bike above the liimited extras:
* Bassani 2-1-2 Exhaust
* Upgraded audio system (looks like the J&M setup)
* Screamin' Eagle Tuner
* Stage 2 Cams
You will be over 24,000 after DMV charges. 25079 is MSRP for a 2011 with the changes I'd get the new one.
Or hit them at $21500.00. That's fair enough. They didn't pay for the farkles.

I looked at a similar 2010 Ultra Limited at the dealer here in PHX, their out the door price was about 23500, that's with fees, BS and our 9.3% sales tax.
at the same time, Missoula HD had 2010 new Ultras with free 103" kit for 22,300- no sales taxes- set up an LLC and register in montana, lifetime plates for $90. ( the value there was zero miles and fresh 2 year warranty)
In the end I got a screamin' deal on an 09 Classic- saved over $8000.
If you are not in a hurry, look around- check Missoula HD, check cycletrader and craigslist- and the classifieds here as well.

Thanks.
I don't really want to fork out the bucks for a new one plus I really like the extras this already has on it. Do you think 10,500 is a lot of miles for a 2010?
No, the miles are OK. They just want too much for it in December.. 18% is 4500 off MSRP.
21500 is a fair price. I'm betting they only gave around 20 for it. Unless it belongs to someone at the shop.
If your financing the bike I'd go new as the interest rates should be lower plus you get the full 2 years of warranty.
You may end up with a new one with the extra's added on by the dealer and put in the deal for about the same payment as the used one depending on the rate difference and how hard you negotiate.
I'd ask their finance manager for a comparision before pulling the trigger.

Unless you're just itching, you've got three more months until riding season again. If they don't take your offer now, I'll bet they call you back in a month.
A lot of folks with $22k to spend will want a new one for a squige more. Patience will be rewarded.
