I am trying to figure out how your bike falling off the block of wood is mking the jiffy stand collapse. I just went out and checked and it would take almost 4 inches of drop before my jiffy stand had a chance in disengaging out of the mechanism. Even then it would also take forces in two different directions. I lifted my bike upright and then it lay over from upright and the 8" drop it still engaged properly.

is your jiffy stand worki properly? Is it properly engaged when you park?

I had the same type of problem. Bought a Rivco center stand that is excellent. Kinda pricey but works great. Easy to pull the bike up on the stand. Makes it easy to clean and work on the bike.

It's actually only fallen off the block once. I either probably didn't have the stand fully locked or I rocked it off the block when I was fooling around with the Tour Pak.
The other two times were basically because I wasn't used to having to have the ignition lock turned to the run position to unlock the steering. I was used to my previous 96' Heritage and 04' RKC and I didn't have to be careful where the ignition switch was positioned because both of those bikes required a seperate operation to lock the steering. Try turning right with the baggers while walking the bike with the ignition switch in the off position...you'll drop it everytime.
I'm just looking for a simple way to store the bike in a more vertical position to make more room for my truck and my GF's car.
I'll probably have to fab something at work, I was just looking for a nice bolt-on fix.

Simple way is to purchase a bike jack, craftsman is 69.99 others available for more and less, then just slide it under bike and jack just enough to stand it straght, they also come with 2 tie downs if you want extra security as to falling, also while on the jack, since it has casters you can move it around if your garage floor is smooth. Then if you wanted to do work on your bike youve cured two problems at once

Take a look at the CenterStand from cyclelifts.com. Light, fast, easy to use, great quality. I hang mine from the rafters above my scooter, takes all of 10 seconds to get one of the wheels off the ground. Also works great for cleaning wheels and tires.

Thanks. The "Cyclelift" product looks like a pretty good solution. Found another device called a "Hog Leg" that is a very nice product and looked ideal at first, but it was $300 bucks and required replacing the passenger footboards with pegs. Don'tr think the GF would like that and besides that I just put on some Kuryakyn adjustable pegs for her any way.

Mount a display stand like the one on my Ultra Classic. It's very easy to put up and ride off of. The bike stands straight up when used.
The display stand is a bit expensive and I probably never would have bought one myself. This one happened to be on my "03 Ultra Classic when I bought it.

I have the display stand and just love it. It is expensive like Shorty says but, I figure it will move to the next Ultra when the time comes.

Hell at this point your bike sounds like it must be pretty beat up, so maybe you should just skid into the garage sideways and let it drop where ever it stops!!!!

Just kiddin!!!!, I think if it were me though, the truck would be outside, after all it is a truck and then you would have room for your bike.
