Scratches the crap out of the windshield, but its behind them, so....
I'm looking for something different, as sunglasses won't even fit in these. I have a small Leatherman multi-tool, and key fob size garage door opener in mine, and that's it. Going to get the HD door opener, and switch windshields and not use the bags again.
I use the T-Bags, I think it was around $65. The contours look the best out of all the bags out there, but that also really limits what you can put in them. The other big issue is that you've got to squash the thing to make it fit with a Hogtunes pod.
They look like little purses to me, especially the single versions.
I don't know if they'd really be practical or not.
I don't think that I'd run with one.
Good for holdin' a pack of gum or a cell phone or somethin' like that though I suppose.
Not needin for storage really, just for nic-nacs & whichever glasses i am not wearin at the time & my ipod when i'm riding. Dont really like the look or fitment of any of the permenent ipod mounts i've seen so my thinkin is a two pouch bag would work fine.
if you are looking for a quality windshield pouch DON"T look for one at your local HD dealer. I bought the 3 pocket one from a guy who bought it new and never used it for $30. It is a piece of junk. Flimsy, cheap, cardboard, made in China crap. I was shocked when I found out that HD got somewhere around $100 for them.
I use the T-bags 3 pouch contoured bag. Like it a lot. I like how it fits behind a 4" sheild. Pics on my 09' Ultra. If I remember correctly around $60.00.
PS found link $70.00 from them direct, but can be found cheaper on E-bay
